Ryan Stygar is the founder and CEO of Centurion Trial Attorneys, APC. Better known as “Attorney Ryan,” he is the most well-known worker’s rights lawyer in the country. Attorney Ryan has taken on some of the biggest corporations in the world, and through fierce advocacy, has secured millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.
Attorney Ryan has earned the trust of millions of people on social media. His book,Get it in Writing: The Ultimate Guide to Your Rights at Work, has become the go-to resource for understanding employee rights in the United State.
As a former firefighter, Attorney Ryan brings his passion for service, teamwork, and justice to every case. His blue-collar background makes him especially qualified to understand the challenges faced by people at work. From battling wildfires in California to fighting greedy corporations in court, Attorney Ryan has never backed down.

Ryan was born and raised in San Diego, California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Western School of Law. His research, Thinking Outside the Box: A Point-Based System of Reintegration for California’s Inmate Firefighters, was published in the California Western Law Review. Attorney Ryan’s research has been cited by state and local governments seeking to reform post-release employment outcomes for incarcerated persons—a key component to fighting crime and reducing instances of reoffending.
Attorney Ryan is passionate about supporting the San Diego community. He regularly volunteers with Feeding San Diego, a non-profit dedicated to providing free, nutritious food to the community. Addressing food insecurity is one of Ryan’s most important goals in the city.
